Cheese Muffins
Ingredients
- 1 cup (250ml) semi-skimmed milk
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 egg
- 200g cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- 400g Laxey Glen Mills Wholemeal flour
Preparation
- Lightly oil a 12-hole muffin tin and preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Put the Milk, butter and egg into a bowl and mix together, then add the other ingredients and blend until just mixed.
- Fill the muffin holes and sprinkle a little extra grated cheese on top of each muffin.
- Bake for 15-20mins or until the muffins are golden brown and spring back when touched.
